Now! It’s never too soon – even if you haven’t found the house or know exactly what you’re going for – it’s best to start the conversation early so that you get the best plan, price and experience possible. Â
While every designer is different, with HGDG, you should expect an easy-to-work-with team that is focused on creating a beautiful, functional space that is authentic to you! With our clear, 7 Step Level Up Your Living Process and regular communication – be it meetings, emails, texts or phone calls – you will always know what to expect next and where we are in the project. You’ll never be in the dark about what is happening! Overall, we think you’ll find the experience with us to be honest, straight-forward and hopefully even a little fun!Â
Your personality, design aesthetic, requests, color preferences and general input are considered and incorporated from the start! It’s an imperative part of the process to ensure that you like the outcome, but we’ll be handling the creative direction since that is what you’ve hired us for. Not to worry though – if you don’t like how it ends up, you can always request a revision!
Well, it hasn’t happened yet, but we’re sure it’s bound to eventually! You always have the ability to request revisions – and since you are involved in the process from the beginning, your input is incorporated at each step making it less likely that you’ll hate the end product.Â
Some things can be quick- color consultations, selecting hard finishes, space planning – but others can take months depending on the scope of the work, the availability of tradespeople and materials and your schedule. Â
If you have someone you love, absolutely! We’ll just need to work out the process on how design-related decisions are made prior to starting the project to ensure the integrity of your design concept remains intact.
We’ve got you! We will provide recommendations and bids from our valued Trade Partners for you to review and choose from. In the event we don’t already have an existing relationship with a specific trade, we will help you find one.
Depends on the size of the project but can start as low as $500 (color consultation/finishing touches) and range into the thousands for full remodels. Â
We wish we had a working crystal ball, but, alas, we do not. You can expect to have a full cost expectation in Step 5 of our process. I know you hate to hear it, but it really does depend on the size of the home, the materials used, and the look that you want – but we can typically work within your budget (whatever it may be!) to maximize it to the fullest.Â
100% absolutely! It’s your money and you get to choose how you spend it – we just make suggestions! Â
With our real estate knowledge (Amy’s had her Real Estate license since 2016!), we can help you determine where it makes sense to invest to increase the value of your home AND where you are spending to make it your own. Â
